07/05/2014 - We have a cub! Woot :-)

We have been surprised that it has taken this long of watching our badgers (just over a year now) for a cub to show up. In the first clip we can see Mum protecting and giving another adult a right telling off. Then we see various cute clips of when they came to the feeding station later on. Interesting how the cub doesnt seem interested in the peanuts - obviously has not learnt how scrummy they are yet - it also nearly falls into the water bowl :-) Funny how it is a typical youngster that just cant keep still! Then the cub leaves with Mum. Ahhh :-)

It can sometimes get very windy here when stormy weather arrives, and normally the wildlife tends to be pretty scarce when it is at its worst.

However, sometimes there is a plucky badger to be seen - watch the fur fly up and the camera shake!
